The Pavilion, StormontTerms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all bookings at The Pavilion, Stormont.

Facility Hire

  • A customer can make a provisional booking by telephone or email. This booking must be confirmed within 7 days otherwise The Pavilion, Stormont will assume the booking is cancelled.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to notify The Pavilion, Stormont 7 days prior to the event with final numbers and any dietary requirements for those attending the event. Please note that any amendments to catering after 7 days will be subject to availability and the discretion of the catering department.
  • If the event is cancelled within 7 days of the event there will be 100% charge.
  • Catering must be ordered in-house, no catering can be brought in externally.
  •  All facility and catering invoices are to be settled within 7 days of the invoice date. All payments for room hire should be made payable to NICSSC. Invoices can be paid by, cash, card or BACS.
  • Late payments will incur 2.5% interest per month on outstanding balances.

Social Facility Hire (NICS Social Club Members)

  • All social bookings must be made by a member and this member must be in attendance for the duration of the event.
  • Any social booking that does not require bar services must purchase catering. 
  • All catering must be confirmed and paid for 7 days to the event (this includes dietary requirements).
  • If the event is cancelled within 7 days of the event there will be 100% catering charge.
  • Catering must be ordered in-house, no catering can be brought in externally.
  • No alcohol can be brought onto the premises unless for the use of ballot prizes or presents. Anyone found consuming alcohol that has not been purchased on the premises will have it confiscated and will be asked to leave the premises.
  • Last orders at the bar will be 10:45pm, unless in the event of an application for a late licence when last orders will be 12:45am, providing the late licence requirements have been met. This will be at the discretion of the Duty Manager on shift.
  • All entertainment must cease when the bar closes, unless otherwise agreed with the management team.
  • An application for a late licence requires a minimum of 80 people attending the event. A late licence application is chargeable at £15 and must be requested 4 weeks prior to the event. This charge is payable 7 days prior to the booking.
  • The Pavilion, Stormont, reserves the right to object to the employment made by any customer (photographer, band, musician or any other person in connection with the function/event)
  • Pavilion staff reserve the right to refuse to serve any customer who is or appears to be intoxicated.

General House Rules for all Bookings

  • No signage or decoration to be erected without prior consent. Any damaged caused by unauthorised signs or decorations will incur a charge to the customer.
  • Table confetti is not permitted.
  • The customer/member is responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms or the furniture/equipment within those rooms. Any damage caused will be charged to the customer.
  • The Pavilion, Stormont, will endeavour to assist clients with storage of equipment etc. However we do not accept liability for the loss or damage equipment.
  • In the event of a fire, the activation of The Pavilion, Stormont’s fire alarm is indicated by an audible warning throughout the building. In the event of a fire alarm all people will leave the building by the nearest fire exit and make their way to the fire assembly point at the front of the building. Evacuation procedure will be distributed to event organisers.
